ABOUT THE BAND
The Jist is a high-octane funk collective forged in the industrial heart of New Jersey. We blend raw, cinematic energy with a retro-funk aesthetic that has defined the dance floor for over a decade. Our journey began in the gritty backstreets of the Garden State, where we discovered a unique sound that merges the gritty textures of classic soul with the high-energy rhythms of modern club culture.
With a stage presence that is as raw as it is funky, we bring an electric atmosphere to every performance. From the neon-lit clubs of Atlantic City to the industrial stages of New York, The Jist remains the heartbeat of the dance party. We don't just play music; we create an immersive experience that demands you to move, feel, and lose yourself in the groove.
